The Winora Story
The Name
Studio Winora is named after Winston and Nora, my two Mini Schnauzers, but the meaning reaches further than that.
It represents the feeling I wanted this space to hold.
Warmth, familiarity, and quiet joy.
As a celebrant and creative, I dreamed of a place designed with care.
A place where couples could marry without overwhelm, and where artists could create without distraction.
Somewhere calm.
Somewhere intentional.
Somewhere that felt like an exhale.
So I built it.
The Building
A heritage space, reimagined with care.
Housed inside a former cinema, Studio Winora carries decades of quiet history within its walls. High ceilings, textured surfaces and softened light set the tone - grounding the space in character without distraction.
Rather than erase the past, we chose to honour it.
The studio has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its original charm, while introducing modern comforts that allow events, workshops and ceremonies to unfold with ease.
The result is a space that feels layered, calm and timeless - one that adapts beautifully to whatever story is being told within it.

Studio Winora was created after years of working in weddings and creative spaces - watching moments feel rushed, overstyled, or lost in logistics.
I wanted to build something different.
A space where couples could feel present on their wedding day.
Where creatives could host workshops without noise or pressure.
Where beauty felt quiet, not performative.
Studio Winora is a reflection of that vision - shaped by experience, softened by intention, and designed to welcome moments that feel honest and unforced.
